Nvidia, AWS and Salesforce Say Yes to Snap's Glasses. Wall Street Says Hold

Source Beincrypto

Snap AR glasses are heading for factory floors and shop counters. The company signed Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, and Salesforce as enterprise partners for its Specs eyewear on Wednesday.

The move opens a second market for a device that investors met with skepticism in June. Looks matter less to a procurement team than the business case.

Snap AR Glasses Gain Nvidia, AWS, and Salesforce AI Agents

Snap is targeting retail, manufacturing, and field operations. Salesforce brings its Agentforce workplace AI platform to Specs. Staff can identify an object, open a case, and update records hands-free, according to Snap.

AWS connects Specs to Amazon Quick, its AI assistant for work. In Snap’s retail example, an associate asks where a product sits and sees stock levels appear in view.

Nvidia supplies AI agents from its XR software stack. Snap describes agents that read a room, pull company data, and coach a worker through a task.

The announcement stops short of commercial detail. Snap named no pilot customers and quoted no enterprise pricing.

Why the Stock Needs More Than Partners

The consumer pitch has been a hard sell. Snap launched the $2,195 Specs in June, and the stock fell almost 10% that day.

Shares closed at $5.72, down 1.89%. The stock has lost about 30% this year.

Corporate buyers face a hurdle of their own. The Connected Case bundle with cellular service runs $2,395, so a rollout scales in expensive steps.

Scale is the bigger obstacle. Advertising delivered $5.19 billion of Snap’s $5.93 billion in full-year 2025 revenue, so hardware sits far from the core business.

The company also lost $311 million in the year through June. Enterprise contracts promise steadier income than gadget sales. However, investors are already questioning AI spending across the sector.

Salesforce knows that scrutiny well. Its shares jumped 22% in early September after an Anthropic deal.

Wall Street stays cautious. The 43 analysts covering Snap rate it a hold, yet their average target of $7.38 sits roughly 29% above the latest close.

Specs ship in the US, UK and France this fall, and partner logos give Snap a pitch for 2027 budgets. However, only signed contracts will move the stock.
