XRP ETF Inflows Hit $1.55 Billion Record Amid 70% Price Surge

Spot XRP ETFs recorded their best week since May, gaining $39.78 million as the token exploded to a seven-month high following months of stagnant demand.

The rally lagged the broader crypto market by a day before catching up with force.

XRP ETF Inflows Finally Break Their Streak

Investors returned to the funds on August 18, pouring $5.81 million in what became the biggest daily net inflow of the month at that point, following a painful streak in which seven of the month’s first eleven trading days saw no inflows at all.

Wednesday brought only $2.35 million, even as the US Treasury announced a major monetary pivot and Trump hosted a White House Crypto Summit, the catalysts widely credited for that day’s broader market revival across Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Both assets saw immediate inflow spikes that session, while XRP was noticeably slower to join the rally despite the same underlying catalysts.

Inflows picked up Thursday at $13.24 million, then jumped to $18.38 million on Friday, the single-best day for the funds since May 14, according to SoSoValue data. The cumulative total net inflows hit a new all-time high of $1.55 billion.

Bitwise’s XRP fund extended its lead as the largest, holding $542.69 million in cumulative inflows, followed by Canary Capital’s XRPC at $468.12 million and Franklin’s XRPZ at $434.16 million. Those three issuers now account for the bulk of total assets across the entire XRP ETF category.

XRP’s Price Finally Catches Up With Force

Once XRP’s price finally moved, it moved fast. After defending the $1.00 support level, the token skyrocketed 70% in under 72 hours, reaching $1.70 by Saturday morning before facing rejection.

That level proved too strong to hold. Sellers pushed the price back down hard to $1.42, wiping out a meaningful chunk of the weekend’s gains within hours.

Buyers stepped in again shortly after, helping XRP recover much of that lost ground. According to BeInCrypto data, the token currently trades near $1.50 at the time of writing, still well above where it started the week and comfortably above the $1.00 level it had struggled to hold for much of August.

Analysts believe the token still needs to reclaim the $1.65-$1.70 resistance zone before the broader trend can shift decisively higher, a level that has capped multiple rally attempts in recent months.

Whether XRP can clear that ceiling on its next attempt remains the key question for traders heading into the coming week.
