US spot Solana (SOL) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) lost $24.8 million in the week ending October 9. It was their largest weekly outflow since launch in October 2025 and ended 14 straight inflow weeks.

Just 2 weeks earlier, the funds drew $188.2 million, their second-biggest week on record. Inflows then slowed to $2.4 million in the week ending October 2.

Solana’s Record Exit Lands in a Red Week for Crypto ETFs

According to SoSoValue data, the previous weekly record was an $8.9 million outflow in the week ending February 6. Last week’s exit was almost 3 times that size.

Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs shed $681.1 million in the same week, while Ethereum (ETH) ETFs lost $542.1 million. Ethereum funds closed the week on a ninth straight outflow day, BeInCrypto reported.

Zcash (ZEC) and Hyperliquid (HYPE) ETFs also posted outflows of $30.7 million and $9.4 million, respectively.

SOL Sees Modest Rise After a 10% Slide

Net assets in the Solana funds fell 8.9% over the week, from $1.90 billion to $1.73 billion. The outflow accounts for only about $25 million of that $170 million decline. The rest largely reflects SOL’s price slide over the same period.

SOL fell 10.25% during the trading week before recording modest gains over the weekend. The altcoin traded at $111.53 at press time, up 1.45% over the past 24 hours, according to BeInCrypto Markets data.

The next weekly print, covering trading through October 16, will show whether fund buyers returned after the price drop.

XRP ETFs Keep Drawing Money as Other Crypto Funds Bleed

Meanwhile, spot XRP (XRP) ETFs moved in the opposite direction, drawing $11.3 million over the same week. The inflow extended their streak to 13 consecutive weeks.

Their last outflow week ended July 10. In contrast, other major ETFs all posted net outflows last week.

The buying held up even as XRP fell 8.2% during the week. Cumulative net inflows into XRP ETFs reached a record $1.80 billion. Net assets, however, stood lower at $1.57 billion.

Even so, Solana and XRP ETFs have each drawn more net money in 2026 than spot Bitcoin ETFs. Since January 1, Solana funds have attracted $816.8 million and XRP funds $635.5 million, against $494.1 million for Bitcoin.
