Peter Brandt Destroys the XRP Cult Narrative

Source Beincrypto

Legendary trader Peter Brandt says XRP holders do not need blind loyalty to justify their position, insisting technical charts alone provide enough reason to buy the token right now.

His comments arrive as bullish patterns, whale accumulation, and steady ETF inflows converge, fueling fresh optimism across the market.

What Is Driving XRP’s Bullish Setup?

Peter Brandt, a veteran market analyst, told followers that owning XRP does not require certified cult membership. He argued that an open mind toward the charts is enough.

His post drew sharp reactions from a community he has clashed with before. This time, though, his tone leaned constructive rather than dismissive.

Brandt’s long-term monthly chart points to eventual upside near $5.40, based on a decade-long resistance-and-support structure. He stressed that publishing a projection differs from holding an active trade.

XRP currently trades around $1.52, according to BeInCrypto data, after climbing back from recent lows. Other analysts echo the bullish read. Ali Charts flagged an inverse head-and-shoulders pattern, a formation that often signals a trend reversal, with a neckline near $1.55.

A confirmed breakout could push XRP toward $2, roughly 30% higher. Trader Dark Defender went further, calling a parabolic move inevitable soon.

Do Whales and ETF Flows Support the Rally?

On-chain data suggests large holders are not waiting for confirmation. Whales added roughly 470 million tokens worth about $724 million over five days. That accumulation lifted their combined balances noticeably, a pattern often read as a sign of confidence.

Meanwhile, U.S. spot XRP ETFs have posted eleven straight weeks of net inflows. Cumulative totals now near $1.79 billion, with recent weekly additions around $75 million. Those flows held steady even as Bitcoin and Ethereum products saw mixed or negative days.

Momentum indicators are improving, and futures open interest is climbing back toward earlier highs. Positive funding rates suggest traders are leaning toward more upside rather than further downside. October has historically been a weaker month for XRP, tempering some enthusiasm.

Still, technical structure, whale buying, and steady ETF demand paint a constructive fourth-quarter picture. None of this guarantees a breakout, and analysts caution that resistance near $1.60 must still be cleared.
