Top 3 Price Prediction: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple – BTC reclaims $84,000, ETH heads toward recent highs, XRP extends rebound

Source Fxstreet
  • Bitcoin rebounds slightly, trading above $84,600 on Friday after a small correction earlier this week.
  • Ethereum reclaims the $2,688 level and approaches recent highs as buyers try to sustain the rebound.
  • XRP recovers, trading around $1.539 on Friday after 2.25% gains the previous day.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP) extend their recovery on Friday after recent pullbacks, as investors show renewed buying interest. BTC reclaims the $84,000 level, ETH moves back above $2,688 while XRP builds on recent’s gains. The price action of these top three cryptocurrencies will be crucial as bulls attempt to sustain the rebound and challenge key resistance levels.

Bitcoin recovers amid renewed buying interest

Bitcoin price trades at $84,631 on Friday, retaining a bullish near-term bias as it holds well above the 50-day, 100-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) clustered between roughly $73,300 and $76,400.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 65 stays in positive territory without being overbought, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) remains in positive territory with the signal line above zero, hinting that upside momentum is still constructive even after the recent surge.

On the topside, immediate resistance is seen at the horizontal barrier near $85,000.

On the downside, the first relevant support is around the 50-day EMA at $76,474 and the 200-day and 100-day EMAs at $73,956 and $73,309, which form a broader demand zone on pullbacks. Deeper declines would expose horizontal supports at $66,500 and $62,300, where buyers could attempt to reassert control if a larger correction unfolds.

Ethereum bulls head toward recent highs

Ethereum price trades at $2,688 on Friday, retaining a bullish near-term bias as it holds well above the key EMAs. The 50-day EMA around $2,393, along with the 100-day and 200-day EMAs clustered around $2,240, suggests a firmly supported underlying trend, while the horizontal level at $2,500.00 has become nearby demand.

Momentum reinforces this constructive tone, with the RSI hovering in the 60s and the MACD staying in positive territory with a modestly positive line, hinting at sustained upside pressure even as the latest advance consolidates.

On the topside, the next notable resistance is the psychological $3,000 barrier, which buyers would need to clear for a fresh leg higher.

On the downside, initial support is seen at $2,500, followed by dynamic backing from the 50-day EMA at $2,393, with the 100-day and 200-day EMAs at $2,239 and $2,246 providing a broader structural floor. Deeper pullbacks would expose the prior horizontal levels at $2,000 and $1,385, though for now the technical configuration suggests dips are likely to find buying interest above the EMA cluster.

XRP bulls remain firm

XRP price trades at $1.539 on Friday, maintaining a constructive bullish bias as price holds above the EMAs clustered between roughly $1.290 and $1.360. This positioning suggests the broader uptrend remains intact. At the same time, the RSI at 62 indicates firm but not overbought momentum, and the MACD above zero reinforces sustained bullish pressure after the recent push higher.

On the topside, the next notable resistance aligns with the horizontal barrier at $1.900, where buyers could meet stronger supply if the rally extends.

On the downside, initial support is seen near the current price region backed by the 200-day EMA at $1.363 and the 50-day EMA at $1.341, with additional demand expected at the horizontal level of $1.300 and the 100-day EMA at $1.290; a deeper setback would expose the more distant structural floor at $1.000.

Cryptocurrency prices FAQs

Token launches influence demand and adoption among market participants. Listings on crypto exchanges deepen the liquidity for an asset and add new participants to an asset’s network. This is typically bullish for a digital asset.

A hack is an event in which an attacker captures a large volume of the asset from a DeFi bridge or hot wallet of an exchange or any other crypto platform via exploits, bugs or other methods. The exploiter then transfers these tokens out of the exchange platforms to ultimately sell or swap the assets for other cryptocurrencies or stablecoins. Such events often involve an en masse panic triggering a sell-off in the affected assets.

Macroeconomic events like the US Federal Reserve’s decision on interest rates influence crypto assets mainly through the direct impact they have on the US Dollar. An increase in interest rate typically negatively influences Bitcoin and altcoin prices, and vice versa. If the US Dollar index declines, risk assets and associated leverage for trading gets cheaper, in turn driving crypto prices higher.

Halvings are typically considered bullish events as they slash the block reward in half for miners, constricting the supply of the asset. At consistent demand if the supply reduces, the asset’s price climbs.
