SanDisk disclosed at its Investor Day on August 13 that it expects revenue to maintain mid-to-high double-digit growth from FY2028 to FY2030, with a non-GAAP gross margin of around 80% and an adjusted free cash flow margin of about 50%.

The company has currently signed long-term pricing agreements with eight customers, with a total contract value of approximately $94 billion. These agreements cover about two-thirds of its bit shipments in FY2028.

In addition, SanDisk expects the total addressable market for enterprise data center flash memory to expand to 1.2 ZB by 2030.

On the product front, the 10th-generation BiCS10 332-layer 3D NAND flash memory jointly developed by Kioxia and SanDisk has entered the sample delivery stage, with storage density increased by 59% compared to BiCS8. This is one of the first next-generation NAND flash products released by SanDisk under an independent brand following its spin-off from Western Digital (WDC).

Andrew Jackson, head of Japan equity strategy at Ortus Advisors, said that a few years ago, it was almost unthinkable for NAND manufacturers to provide such precise long-term forecasts. Compared with more volatile spot prices, such long-term agreements help smooth out the memory chip industry's traditional "boom-bust" cycle.
