Fiscal year 2026 revenue declined 8.7% to $82.5 million.

International revenue rose 8.2% to $29.7 million in fiscal 2026.
On its fiscal year 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 16, 2026, CTW (NASDAQ:CTW) announced that it prioritized capital returns over top-line revenue growth. Disciplined marketing cuts protected segment profits, which are the earnings from game operations before corporate overhead, and preserved $14.4 million in cash with zero debt. Three things management said stand out.
When new titles underperformed, management didn't chase unprofitable revenue. That decision protected segment profits, even as top-line revenue dropped 8.7% to $82.5 million.
When titles did not meet our internal performance thresholds, we scaled back marketing rather than pursue top line growth at unattractive returns.

The company operates its games through G123, its proprietary browser-based gaming platform. This approach eliminates mobile app store downloads and fee structures, giving CTW direct access to players.
G123 was designed from the beginning as a browser-based gaming platform and operating independently from the traditional app store ecosystem.

Rather than paying premium fees for only the newest media franchises, management evaluates intellectual property (IP), such as licensed Japanese animation titles, based on player retention and expected financial return. This framework allows established anime titles to generate steady cash returns relative to licensing costs.
To us, we want to identify the content that can deliver an attractive user engagement and sustainable monetization relative to the investments required.

International expansion is accelerating outside Japan as corporate infrastructure scales globally. CTW's browser distribution model, debt-free balance sheet with $14.4 million in cash, and disciplined spending offer strong structural advantages. Leadership is focusing on North American growth, developer partnerships, and marketing channel diversification.
We expect to see a return to growth as we issue new titles and continue to implement our presence and growth initiatives in the region.
-- Patrick Liu, Chief Financial Officer
Expanding promotional partnerships and launching new games support global strategy.
I think in combination, these things is going to help us to continue expand globally and get back to growth phase of the company.
