Third-quarter revenue reached $70.2 million, up 31% year over year.
Automotive radar chipsets entered high-volume production during the third quarter.
Management targets non-GAAP profitability in the second quarter of 2027.
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Nov. 5, 2026, indie Semiconductor (NASDAQ:INDI) reported third-quarter revenue of $70.2 million, topping the midpoint of its guidance range. The automotive chipmaker is scaling high-volume radar production and expanding proprietary sensing technology into robotics platforms. Commercial adoption of DRAM-less vision processors provides clear operating leverage toward profitability. Three things management said stand out.
High-volume manufacturing for automotive radar chipsets marks a key operational inflection point. Securing production qualification with Tier 1 suppliers positions indie Semiconductor to expand radar revenues through 2027.
The move to large volume production is a significant inflection point for our radar business, and sets the stage for our RADAR revenue ramp through 2027 and beyond.

Management is redirecting research capital toward physical artificial intelligence, adapting its system-on-chip (SoC) integrated circuit architecture for robotics and autonomous machines. Capturing design wins in humanoid robotics diversifies revenue beyond traditional automotive markets.
We are rapidly increasing our focus on physical AI, a substantial percentage of our 2027 R&D budget will be redirected to customizing our next generation SoCs for this market.
-- Donald McClymont, CEO and co-founder
Cost discipline and core business growth support a timeline to reach non-Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (non-GAAP) profitability, which excludes non-operating charges, in the second quarter of 2027. Reaching positive operating cash flow in the third quarter of 2027 reinforces financial self-sustainability.
We expect to reach non GAAP profitability in the second quarter of 27 and to turn cash flow positive the following quarter.
-- Naixi Wu, CFO
Full-year revenue expansion is pacing above 20% across mixed vehicle markets. Proprietary radar chipsets, DRAM-less vision architectures, and qualified photonics offer technical advantages as automation and physical artificial intelligence expand.
We delivered double digit revenue growth both sequentially and year over year, and are on track for a full year revenue growth of more than 20% in the mixed automotive market.
-- Donald McClymont, CEO and co-founder
Leadership is prioritizing design win conversion, product margin expansion, and manufacturing execution as proprietary architectures enter broad commercial production.
With a growing design win pipeline and a broadening customer base, we believe Indy is exceptionally well positioned to deliver sustained growth and long term value for our shareholders.
