Total asset footprint grew 7% year over year to $1.1 trillion.
Evergreen platform AUM reached nearly $21 billion, up 42% year over year.
Fee-related earnings rose 34% year over year to $215 million.
On its second quarter of fiscal year 2027 earnings call, held on Nov. 3, 2026, Hamilton Lane (NASDAQ:HLNE) reported total asset footprint growth of 7% year over year to $1.1 trillion. An expanding asset management footprint and high-margin specialized product launches give the private markets firm steady operating leverage. For long-term investors, the key is that recurring fee revenue is outpacing expense growth. Three things management said stand out.
Evergreen funds feature continuous investor subscriptions without fixed end dates. That structure gives wealth channels easier access to private equity. And expanding evergreen assets under management (AUM), or total assets managed for clients, raises blended fee rates because these specialized funds carry higher management fees than traditional advisory mandates.
Our Evergreen platform finished the quarter at nearly $21 billion of AUM representing 42% growth in AUM over the prior year.
