Capital markets revenue target is $18 million to $20 million.
Net interest income rose to $69 million in the third quarter.
Non-performing assets declined to 0.39% of total assets.
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 21, 2026, QCR Holdings (NASDAQ:QCRH) reported record earnings per share. High-margin loan originations and effective balance sheet management continue to expand profitability.
Three key takeaways stand out for long-term investors.
QCR Holdings is changing how it offloads permanent Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) loans, which finance affordable housing projects. Selling these loans directly to third parties avoids complex securitizations. This approach eliminates first-loss risk retention and frees up Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital, a key measure of bank financial resilience.
As a result, we are actively working on other third parties on alternative loan sale structures for our permanent LIHTC loans that we believe will be significantly less complex, take far less time to accomplish, and result in better economics.
-- Todd Gipple, President and CEO
The company uses strategic loan sales to keep total assets under $10 billion before crossing that mark in 2027. Crossing $10 billion triggers the federal Durbin Amendment, which caps debit card transaction fee revenue for banks above that size.
These offtake transactions are also allowing us to strategically manage our total assets under the $10 billion asset threshold this year. We anticipate growing beyond $10 billion sometime in 2027.
-- Todd Gipple, President and CEO
QCR Holdings completed its third core banking software conversion in October while keeping annual non-interest expense growth under 5%. Modernizing systems across its bank charters boosts operational efficiency without breaking its internal cost disciplines.
As we have now completed three of four core conversions, our progress on non-interest expenses demonstrate that we can continue investing in digital transformation while managing annual expense growth below 5%.
-- Nick Anderson, CFO
Higher loan yields and steady borrower demand expand net interest margin, the gap between interest earned on assets and paid on deposits. QCR Holdings relies on its multi-charter network and local decision-making to win market share while prioritizing deposit pricing discipline.
We continue to benefit from repricing lower yielding loans into higher market rates.
-- Nick Anderson, CFO
Disciplined technology investments and efficient capital recycling position the bank to maintain profitability as assets expand.
Through continued investments in our people and our technology, combined with disciplined expense management, we are well positioned to sustain our top-tier financial performance.
-- Todd Gipple, President and CEO
