JFrog signed a $76 million multiyear cloud agreement in the third quarter.
Third-quarter revenue grew 31% year over year to $179.2 million.
Customers spending over $1 million annually grew 58% year over year.
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Nov. 5, 2026, JFrog (NASDAQ:FROG) announced revenue grew 31% year over year to $179.2 million. Enterprise software development is shifting toward automated artificial intelligence tools that generate binary computer code files faster than human teams can track them.
As code volume surges, large organizations rely on centralized systems of record to manage, store, and secure digital assets across multiyear cloud migrations. Three things management said on the call stand out.
Enterprise customers are converting flexible cloud usage into fixed long-term commitments. Cloud software revenue grew 60% year over year to $101.5 million, boosted by SaaS, or software-as-a-service, contracts that lock in predictable spending as workload volume expands.
In Q3, JFrog secured a $76 million multiyear SaaS agreement with one of the world's leading telecommunications companies. This deal represents 167% growth in cloud data consumption compared to the customer's prior usage commitment.

Organizations are bundling cybersecurity features directly into their core software repositories to block risky software packages before deployment. This suite approach lifted net dollar retention, a metric tracking revenue expansion from existing customers over time, up 6 percentage points year over year to 124%.
Customers choose to consolidate their security solutions alongside the system of record with one platform that holistically covers modern software supply chain needs. We continue to work with leading security partners, AI labs, cyber tools and the community to ensure that our customers' software delivery life cycle remains secure.

Artificial intelligence agents produce unprecedented volumes of code artifacts, creating operational bottlenecks for legacy infrastructure. Software teams require unified platforms that maintain strict compliance and auditing standards while running automated build workflows.
AI demands a system of record that can scale rapidly to meet enterprise needs. As the tsunami surges, customers are looking for a reliable software supply chain platform with a system of record at its centers so they can standardize on a trusted and scalable solution.

Customer retention stays high as enterprises standardize on hybrid software management and automated governance tools to handle security compliance. Pipeline expansion and subscriptions growth for Enterprise+, the company's top-tier platform package, continues into the fourth quarter of 2026.
As a result, management raised baseline cloud growth guidance to 52% to 54% year over year, and full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $680 million and $682 million, while monitoring cloud cost optimization.
We're entering the fourth quarter with confidence in our strategy and strength in our pipeline. Our updated 2026 guidance range reflects continued contributions from our security core products, ongoing adoption of our full platform, and cloud growth driven by higher annual customer commitments.
-- Ed Grabscheid, Chief Financial Officer
The company maintains a competitive moat anchored in high customer switching costs, holding gross retention at 97% as customers host petabytes of data inside Artifactory, JFrog's flagship software repository manager. Expanding security products and developer governance workflows reinforces its core position across enterprise development teams.
The world needs a scalable, hybrid, reliable solution to holistically power the modern software delivery life cycle, one that is secure and governed whether it serves developers, AI agents, or both. JFrog has become the control plane that enterprise depends on as they power their software supply chains in the era of AI.
