Third quarter revenue grew 25% sequentially to $32.8 million.
Fourth quarter revenue guidance midpoint reflects 46% sequential growth.
Management secured over $100 million in new project awards.
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Nov. 4, 2026, FTC Solar (NASDAQ:FTCI) projected 46% sequential revenue growth for the fourth quarter and targeted positive earnings in early 2027. Turning sequential sales momentum into positive cash flow determines whether the business can fund its expansion without diluting shareholders. Three key takeaways from management's discussion highlight where the business stands today.
Management expects sales momentum to accelerate into year-end, pointing to tighter cost controls and improved contract terms as the foundation for positive adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, adjusted for one-time items).
Based on that progress, we expect to see accelerating revenue growth in the fourth quarter with the midpoint of our guidance range equating to 46% sequential growth and the highest absolute level in almost 5 years.

Labor shortages continue to slow utility-scale solar deployments, so FTC Solar designed its Pioneer 1P tracker (a single-axis solar tracking system that rotates panels toward the sun) to reduce field installation time compared to alternative mounting systems.
DNV, a leading global technical advisor and assurance firm, recently validated the installation performance of our Pioneer 1P tracker, just over 5 hours per tracker or approximately 81 labor hours per megawatt. That's 30% to 50% less installation labor than reported in competing product trials.

Securing high-volume commitments from Tier 1 customers (top-tier developers with established balance sheets) provides visible revenue coverage as the company expands into international markets like Australia, India, and the U.K.
Since the last call, we have received more than $100 million of new awards, essentially all of them with Tier 1 customers, and our commercial positioning in the market has never been better.

Revenue momentum is picking up as domestic demand stabilizes and overseas contracts ramp up. Management focuses on working capital discipline and contract terms to drive operating leverage.
Looking ahead to the first quarter of 2027, we expect to see continued revenue growth and to achieve profitability on an adjusted EBITDA basis.

Software tools and site-specific engineering give the company a design advantage on complex terrain. Automated hardware features protect gross margins while cutting customer installation costs.
Combine smarter engineering with automation to reduce labor, improve safety and consistency and lower installed cost. Constructability is delivering value today. Robotics will allow us to extend that value tomorrow.
