On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 30, 2026, WisdomTree (NYSE:WT) announced record assets under management (AUM), the total market value of investments managed for clients, of $171 billion. Higher asset levels generate operating leverage by expanding revenue faster than operating expenses. That dynamic expands long-term earnings power for shareholders.

Three takeaways from management highlight how the business is evolving.

1. Operating Leverage Drives Profitability As Assets Reach $171 Billion

WisdomTree expanded its year-to-date adjusted operating margin by 7.5 percentage points compared to the prior-year period. Management converts additional revenue into expanding earnings power by controlling fixed expenses while expanding assets under management.

Importantly, we're achieving that while continuing to invest in growth, maintaining expense discipline, and leveraging incremental margins north of 50%.
-- Jarrett Lilien, President and Chief Operating Officer

2. Private Market Allocations Will Enter Exchange-Traded Funds in 2027

The firm plans to add private market assets, such as U.S. farmland and private company shares, into exchange-traded fund (ETF) wrappers, which are investment funds traded on public stock exchanges. That expansion offers individual investors access to private market returns within a liquid structure.

In 2027, we expect to bring private market allocations into the ETF wrapper, providing investors with greater diversification and potentially new sources of outperformance.
-- Jonathan Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer

3. In-House Infrastructure Powers Onchain Financial Services Growth

WisdomTree built its own registered trust company, transfer agent, and broker-dealer to support onchain financial technology, which records digital assets directly on a blockchain network. That proprietary platform enables the business to power its own products and offer tokenization services to third parties.

We have built the underlying infrastructure ourselves. We have invested in our tokenization platform, onchain transfer agent, broker-dealer, and regulated trust company. We are not just an asset manager putting funds on a blockchain.
-- Will Peck, Head of WisdomTree Onchain

Looking Ahead

Financial market trends are shifting toward democratized access, tokenization, and private asset convergence. And meanwhile, WisdomTree maintains low overhead with 440 employees managing $171 billion, using in-house technology and external distribution partners to protect operating margins.

After 20-plus years of continued strategic reinvestment, we are intentionally positioned at the intersection of three powerful transformations in financial services: the democratization of investing globally, the convergence of public and private markets, and the tokenization of financial markets onchain.
-- Jonathan Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer

Scalable infrastructure across public markets, private assets, and digital tokens positions the business to capture long-term market share, and combining an efficient operating structure with expanded global product distribution establishes a foundation for expanding long-term earnings capacity.

Combine that breadth of capabilities with our extraordinarily efficient business model, and that's what we're building at WisdomTree, a truly modern global asset manager.
-- Jonathan Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer
