The Binance hack has shaken the crypto market, triggering a widespread selloff after the exchange reported roughly $6.3 billion in losses. Yet three major altcoins remain surprisingly close to their all-time highs.
Hyperliquid (HYPE), LEO Token (LEO), and WhiteBIT Coin (WBT) are all within 17% of their previous records.
Technical analysis suggests HYPE has the strongest chance of reaching a new high. LEO is also showing bullish momentum, while WBT faces a crucial test that could determine its next move.
HYPE has emerged as one of the strongest performers during the selloff.
The token rallied following a deal between Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ], which operates perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid.
The agreement could bring regulated US trading activity onto the network, subject to approval.
At $90.66, HYPE is just 7.4% below its September record of $97.99.
Its technical outlook is encouraging. HYPE reclaimed the important $85.19 level on October 29, accompanied by its highest trading volume since August. Its Relative Strength Index (RSI), which measures price momentum, has climbed to 65.
However, sellers have repeatedly emerged near $97.
What the price analysis suggests:
LEO has also resisted the broader market weakness, trading at $9.46, just 9.3% below its $10.43 record.
The token broke out of a month-long trading range on October 29 after repeatedly finding support near $8.91.
But there is a warning sign.
LEO’s RSI has surged to 80, its highest since April. This indicates powerful buying momentum, although it also suggests the rally may be overheating.
The immediate obstacle is resistance around 9.49–9.60, where previous rallies have struggled.
What happens next?
WBT presents the riskiest outlook among the three.
Trading at $73.76, the token is 16.3% below its September record of $88. Unlike HYPE and LEO, its recent price action has been bearish.
Selling volume has surged, while the RSI has dropped toward 30, approaching oversold territory. The token has also formed progressively lower highs.
The decline comes amid heightened exchange security concerns following the Binance attack, although no direct connection to WBT’s selling pressure has been established.
Still, a potential recovery remains possible if its current support holds.
Two price scenarios stand out:
For now, HYPE appears best positioned to challenge its record. LEO needs to overcome resistance, while WBT must stabilize before a meaningful recovery becomes likely.
