TradingKey – On Thursday morning, July 17 (Asia time), the meme coin sector surged nearly 8%, pushing its total market capitalization past $72 billion, a level not seen since May 2025. Since bottoming out on June 23, meme coins have rebounded more than 53%, signaling a strong market recovery.

Top Performers in the Past 24 Hours
- Dogecoin (DOGE): up 6%, remains the largest meme coin by market cap
- Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Pepe (PEPE): each gained around 4%
But the standout is Bonk（BONK）:
- Up 185% over the past two weeks
- Dominating gainers lists on OKX, Binance, and other major exchanges
- Surged from $0.00001368 on July 2 to a high of $0.00003898, its best level since January 2025
