Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Prediction: Experts Outline Timeline to $1, But This Play Could Offer Higher Returns in 2025

Source Cryptopolitan

Dogecoin (DOGE) has been said to be heading towards its much-anticipated $1 threshold by many financial analysts, but one segment of the trading population is looking in the direction of Mutuum Finance (MUTM), a DeFi protocol aimed at potentially higher returns in 2025. Over 15250 investors have already invested in the project presale, while over $14.45 million has been raised. Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is in Stage 6 of Presale at $0.035, or 16.67% higher than the last stage.

Stage 7 will experience another 14.29% rise in price to $0.04. While DOGE’s trajectory remains tied to broader market trends and adoption currents, Mutuum Finance is trending for its yield management features and inclusion of asset lending, an area that some researchers believe can surpass mainstream memecoins in the upcoming cycle.

Dogecoin Price Prediction: Long-Term Targets Within Reach as Speculation Takes Center Stage

Dogecoin (DOGE), priced at $0.253 currently, is at the center of attention with experts laying out possible paths towards the $1 mark.

Crypto analyst KrissPax argues that DOGE’s past 4-year cycle patterns can support a bull run to $1 or even to $2 in the later part of this year, based on its cyclical meme-cycle repetition. CoinPedia, for its part, offers the more optimistic estimate of $1.07 in 2025, based on estimated growth in trading volume, with scope for a bearish downmove to $0.62 in bear markets. More traditional CoinCodex models predict DOGE to trade an average of $0.27 in 2025 within a $0.23–$0.34 range, citing medium-upside estimates. Those figures contrast with growing interest in newer DeFi tokens like Mutuum Finance (MUTM), which are attracting attention for potentially higher long-term upside.

Mutuum Finance Announces Launch of Phase 6 of Its Presale

Mutuum Finance has finished Phase 5 of its presale and has entered Phase 6, wherein its tokens on sale sell for $0.035. Its price appreciation in the future will increase the price of its tokens by 14.29% to $0.04. Mutuum Finance (MUTM) presale has so far raised over $14.45 million and over 15250 holders added.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) Joins Forces with CertiK to Launch $50K Bug Bounty

Mutuum Finance is collaborating with CertiK in launching Bug Bounty Program. The program will carry a reward pool of $50,000 USDT. Four categories i.e. low, minor, major and critical would be rewarded under the program. The program is the best execution of Mutuum Finance’s vision of building community-driven, secure and sustainable ecosystem.

The project also received a thorough audit by Certik on blockchain security and user fund protection. It is part of Mutuum Finance’s roadmap to an open institution-grade DeFi protocol.

Mutuum Finance Launches MUTM Giveaway

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is also hosting a $100,000 giveaway where 10 users will be awarded $10,000 of MUTM tokens. It has also recently announced that a leaderboard system will reward the top 50 Mutuum Finance (MUTM) holders bonus tokens.

Mutuum Finance is a P2C and P2P lending protocol whereby high-return funds are completely owned by the customer. It is an end-to-end DeFi experience that’s highly bespoke to the customer’s needs and more secure, transparent, and flexible compared to a centralized lending product.

Dogecoin aims for $1, but Mutuum Finance (MUTM) offers greater potential in 2025. At $0.035 in stage 6, it will grow 14.29% to $0.04 at the next stage. Well more than $14.45M raised from 15,250+ investors enforces its dual lending framework, USD-pegged stablecoin, and 95.0 CertiK rating. With a $100K giveaway and $50K bug bounty, early buyers can earn good profits before the next price hike.

Bitcoin briefly loses 2025 gains as crypto plunges over the weekend.Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline this weekend, briefly erasing its 2025 gains and dipping below its year-opening value of $93,507. The cryptocurrency fell to a low of $93,029 on Sunday, representing a 25% drop from its all-time high in October. Although it has rebounded slightly to around $94,209, the pressures on the market remain significant. The downturn occurred despite the reopening of the U.S. government on Thursday, which many had hoped would provide essential support for crypto markets. This year initially appeared promising for cryptocurrencies, particularly after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, who has established the most pro-crypto administration thus far. However, ongoing political tensions—including Trump's tariff strategies and the recent government shutdown, lasting a historic 43 days—have contributed to several rapid price pullbacks for Bitcoin throughout the year. Market dynamics are also being influenced by Bitcoin whales—investors holding large amounts of Bitcoin—who have been offloading portions of their assets, consequently stalling price rallies even as positive regulatory developments emerge. Despite these sell-offs, analysts from Glassnode argue that this behavior aligns with typical patterns seen among long-term investors during the concluding stages of bull markets, suggesting it is not indicative of a mass exodus. Notably, Bitcoin is not alone in its struggles, as Ethereum and Solana have also recorded declines of 7.95% and 28.3%, respectively, since the start of the year, while numerous altcoins have faced even steeper losses. Looking ahead, questions linger regarding the viability of the four-year cycle thesis, particularly given the increasing institutional support and regulatory frameworks now in place in the crypto landscape. Matt Hougan, chief investment officer at Bitwise, remains optimistic, suggesting a potential Bitcoin resurgence in 2026 driven by the “debasement trade” thesis and a broader trend toward increased adoption of stablecoins, tokenization, and decentralized finance. Hougan emphasized the soundness of the underlying fundamentals, pointing to a positive outlook for the sector in the longer term.
