Top 3 Penny Tokens to Buy in 2025: Could the Next Ripple (XRP) Be Still Under $1?

Source Cryptopolitan

The crypto market is experiencing the resurgence of interest for low-cost tokens as investors search for assets that emulates Ripple (XRP)’s rise to all-time high without crossing the $1 levels. Among potential gainers, Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and Mutuum Finance (MUTM) are getting noticed.

DOGE and SHIB may have their highs and lows, but Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is in a league of its own with its presale which has already raised $6.6 million and gained 8,200+ holders. MUTM is still in Phase 4 of its presale, priced at just $0.025, but will jump 20% in price to $0.03 for Phase 5 and analysts are expecting a huge pump post launch beyond $3.50.

The Asent Path of Dogecoin

Dogecoin, for its part, has jumped 10% in the last 24 hours following speculation of a potential exchange-traded product (ETP) from 21Shares. Master Kenobi and other analysts believe DOGE may challenge its 2021 high around $0.73, potentially aiming for $1.

Yet hurdles persist. The number of transactions has dropped 94% per month, indicative of declining activity on the network. This showed that whales wallets deposited as much as 1.3 billion DOGE in sell pressure recently. Further complicating its trajectory is instability in the broader market, driven by macroeconomic tensions.

And while short-term gains could be made, Dogecoin’s lack of utility at all compared with its utility makes its long term potential questionable.

The Shiba Inu’s Recovery

While Shiba Inu is also stuck on bullish signals and bearish realities. Analyst Javon Marks discovered a hidden divergence pattern that suggest a 550% rally toward $0.000155, reminiscent of its breakout in 2021. On the fourth-hour time frame, SHIB is setting up for higher lows against $0.0000124 resistance, which indicates upward momentum if price-activity breaks the ceiling into an upperbound zone. This view is supported by technical indicators like the MACD flipping green.

The wider meme coin sector has lost $8 billion in market cap over 30 days, suggesting waning speculative interest. Without continued demand, Shiba Inu’s rise could falter, potentially leaving investors vulnerable to abrupt reversals.

Mutuum Finance’s Rise

As Dogecoin and Shiba Inu face turbulence, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is charting its own course. The presale’s Phase 4, which is priced at $0.025, raised $6.6 million with 400 million tokens sold. Then the upcoming Phase 5 will raise prices to $0.03 — a 20% gain for current buyers.

Fundamentals remain strong post-launch, with the exchange debut of MUTM sitting at $0.06 for a 140% return, but the projections are even higher: a push to $3.50 would see investors sitting on a 13,900% ROI.

Mutuum Finance (MUTM) enhances real-world DeFi utility with decentralized lending, enabling users to either borrow against overcollateralized assets or earn through liquidity pools. A buy and distribute mechanism takes revenue off the platform and uses it for token buy backs to be sent to stakers, maintaining demand.

Recently, the team released a dashboard that tracks top 50 holders and rewards them with bonus tokens for maintaining their position — a method that fosters long-term holding.

Security continues to be a priority as well, with a Certik audit of Mutuum Finance’s smart contracts in the final stages of completion. Official channels will publicly share results to ensure transparency.

Seizing the Moment

While Dogecoin and Shiba Inu react pandemonically to market sentiment, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) gives a logical entry at the start of 2025. Its turbocharged presale, bringing immediate returns at each stage, is a world away from meme coins’ volatility. The project’s scalable utility focus, alongside a $3.50 post-launch target, makes it the potential heir to XRP’s throne—all for less than $1.

Phase 4 of the sale is proceeding fast, with slots disappearing as investors take up the price of $0.025 before the 20% bump. If you are looking for assets based on functionality rather than hype, Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is the way to go. Time is running out; get the tokens at this level while you can.
