One Piece and Naruto Games called off by Bandai Namco resulting in major downsizing for workers

Bandai Namco has reportedly canceled the projects that included characters from the famous anime series One Piece and Naruto. As a result, the company is planning to lay off its workers.
According to the recent Bloomberg report, Bandai Namco has already let 100 workers go since canceling the multiple titles. The report says the company will continue downsizing further.
Additionally, Bandai Namco has been working on a project with Nintendo. This project has been put off as well. The company believes that there was a lack of interest in the planned titles hence it is also pushing the employees to resign.
