Economist Predicts an Imminent Alt Season Following Additional Rate Cuts, as Bitcoin Hyper’s Presale Soars

Source Bitcoinist

Economist Timothy Peterson believes that the coming rate cuts, which the Fed already has planned, will rally the market, pump Bitcoin, and kickstart the new alt season.

Peterson’s comments come just one day after the Federal Reserve cut rates by 0.25%, with CME’s FedWatch placing the odds of a favorable decision at 96% several weeks before the FOMC meeting.

The same FedWatch now puts the odds of an October 29 rate cut at 91.6%, making it an almost guarantee.

FedWatch’s rate cut odds for October 29, 2025

Especially with the Federal Reserve explicitly announcing three more rate cuts, two coming this year and one more in 2026.

Following this week’s FOMC meeting, Bitcoin rallied close to $118K, after which it crashed to today’s $115,896. This is the perfect opportunity for dip hunters like Strategy to capitalize on the contraction in preparation for October 29.

The combination between the optimism linked to the coming rate cuts and growing institutional Bitcoin hoarding should pump $BTC to a new ATH by the end of October.

Bitcoin Hyper’s ($HYPER) $17.1M presale will likely contribute to that as it aims for a Q4 public launch.

How Will Bitcoin Behave in the Coming Months?

It’s extremely likely that Bitcoin will enter a bullish phase come mid-October, likely followed by a modest contraction before the next pump. That’s a near certainty based on the asset’s recent performance ahead of the FOMC meeting.

And it makes sense.

Cryptocurrencies benefit a lot from Fed’s rate cuts, which decrease the investors confidence in traditional assets like bonds and stocks and turn their gaze to the next big thing: risk-on assets like cryptos. This explains why Bitcoin soared following the Fed’s positive decision.

The crashout that followed was nothing more than the result of opportunistic cashouts, with the dumps pushing the price down. And we’re already seeing the correction setting in over the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin’s price movement over the past 24 hours

What does this mean for Bitcoin going forward? Analyst Ali Martinez believes we’re looking at a $137,300 $BTC soon, so long as Bitcoin holds above the resistance point at $115,440. At the time of writing, Bitcoin trades at $115,772, but seems to be on an upward trend.

If the momentum continues, Bitcoin may reach another ATH by October 29 or, at the very least, shortly after.

And with Bitcoin’s upside, we should see altcoins climb up to newer highs, too. Bitcoin Hyper’s $17.1M presale is worth a watch now, as $HYPER is likely the next crypto to explode in 2025.

How Bitcoin Hyper Promises to Upgrade Bitcoin’s Network Performance

Bitcoin’s performance is currently capped at 7 transactions per second (TPS), which often results in long processing times, network congestion, and high fees.

Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) promises to change that with the help of tools like the Canonical Bridge and the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM).

While SVM speeds up the execution of smart contracts and DeFi apps, the Canonical Bridge is in charge of minting the users’ tokens into the Hyper layer.

Investors can then either use the wrapped Bitcoin on Hyper’s Layer 2 or withdraw them to the native network at will.

How Bitcoin Hyper’s Canonical Bridge works

The Bitcoin Relay Program verifies and confirms all transactions near instantly as well, lowering the finality times from minutes and even hours to seconds.

These tools turn Hyper into an ultra-fast, ultra-performance layer, whose sole goal is to bring Bitcoin’s performance to modern standards.

For reference, Bitcoin currently ranks 25th on the list of the fastest blockchains by TPS, which is unacceptable in 2025. Solana is second on the same list with a TPS that fluctuates between 750 and 1,000.

The $HYPER presale has just surpassed $17M recently and it’s growing fast. If you want to invest, $HYPER is available at the presale price of $0.012945, which is almost guaranteed to pump post launch.

Our official price prediction for $HYPER, based on the project’s potential and long-term roadmap, is $0.32 by the end of 2025. With sufficient mainstream support and following successful implementation, $HYPER could reach $1.50 or higher by 2030.

This represents an ROI of 11,487% on a 5-year investment.

So, if you want to invest, check our guide on how to buy $HYPER here, then get your tokens on the main presale page.
