Key Points

  • CrowdStrike expects recurring revenue to triple by fiscal 2035 as demand for AI-powered security grows.

  • Snowflake's growth continues to accelerate, and management sees its addressable market doubling by 2031.

  • Dell is seeing growing demand for AI servers, while the stock continues to trade at a modest valuation.

  • Motley Fool Issues Rare "Total Conviction" Buy Alert ›

Building wealth over a decade often comes down to owning companies that ride a long-lasting trend, and artificial intelligence (AI) spending is one of the biggest. Research firm Gartner expects worldwide AI spending to reach about $2.7 trillion in 2026 and climb to roughly $3.6 trillion in 2027.

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ: CRWD), Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW), and Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) are competitively positioned to capitalize on that opportunity. While the S&P 500 has returned 13% year to date, these stocks have delivered far superior returns. Here's why they are still worth buying and holding for 10 years.

CrowdStrike

CrowdStrike's Falcon platform protects businesses from cyberattacks across their cloud systems and user accounts, and growing demand for AI-powered security solutions is fueling its momentum. The stock has doubled this year as management called the second quarter its "best quarter" in history, with net new annual recurring revenue accelerating to 51% year-over-year growth in the fiscal second quarter of 2027.

CrowdStrike's edge is its data. Its platform analyzes about 7 trillion events a day. Management says the company has been labeling this data for a decade, providing it with information that competitors don't have. That advantage shows up in a high subscription-adjusted gross profit margin of 81%.

Management sees a lot more growth ahead. CrowdStrike hit $5.2 billion in ARR in fiscal 2026, and expects full-year fiscal 2027 ARR to reach between $6.3 billion and $6.6 billion. Management now expects to hit its long-term targets one year ahead of schedule, reaching $10 billion in ARR by fiscal 2030 and $20 billion by fiscal 2035.

The stock trades at about 40 times this fiscal year's expected revenue. That's a steep premium, but it reflects a highly profitable business that saw accelerating net new ARR last quarter and a path to more than tripling its ARR over the next decade.

Snowflake

Snowflake runs a cloud platform where companies store and analyze their data and build AI applications on top of it. The stock is up about 46% this year as product revenue growth accelerated for the third straight quarter, reaching 37% year over year in the latest quarter (ended July 31).

Companies using Snowflake can pull all their data into one place and control who can access it. This makes it easier for companies to build and run AI agents. The platform is not easy to build, and that edge supports strong profitability, with Snowflake earning a high adjusted gross profit margin of 75%.

Even after the surge in the share price this year, there could be a lot more upside. Management estimates its addressable market will grow from $225 billion to $460 billion by fiscal 2031. Snowflake raised its full-year product revenue growth outlook from 31% to 36%.

Shares trade at about 18 times this fiscal year's expected product revenue. That's a fair price for a highly profitable business growing more than 30% a year, with a large addressable market to capture over the long term.

Dell Technologies

Dell is a leader in servers, and that has translated into booming demand for its AI-optimized servers for data centers. The stock is up about 285% this year as AI server revenue doubled in the quarter ending July 31, 2026.

The company's competitive advantage is built on technology and know-how that is difficult for rivals to replicate. Customers can buy computing, storage, and networking all from Dell -- an advantage that continues to compound as the business grows larger. That scale is lifting profits, with the operating margin in its server segment rising to 15% from about 9% a year ago.

The growing demand for AI compute can send the stock higher. Dell ended the second quarter of its fiscal 2027 with a record AI backlog of $95 billion. Management raised its fiscal 2027 revenue outlook from $167 billion to $192 billion.

At about 18 times this fiscal year's expected earnings, the stock looks inexpensive relative to consensus estimates calling for 38% annual earnings growth over the next several years.
