Revenue for Nebius increased 454% year over year in Q2 2026, and it has more than $40 billion in total customer commitments.
Capital expenditures still far outweigh sales, and almost all revenue comes from this company's AI cloud business.
Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS) is one of the most talked-about AI companies, especially after its stock more than quadrupled within a year. The Dutch tech business has pulled back recently as investors have rotated out of AI stocks.
Now that the company's share price has dipped, let's see if Nebius could be the millionaire-maker investors are hoping for.
Missed AI’s "Act 1"? Act 2 Could Be 15x Bigger. Most investors think they missed the AI boat because they didn't buy Nvidia in 2005. But according to our analysts, we’re only at the end of "Act 1"—the R&D phase. "Act 2" is the global rollout. Continue »

The growth has been there so far. Nebius reported revenue of $582.3 million in Q2 2026, an impressive 454% year-over-year increase. Annualized run rate revenue (ARR) reached $3 billion at the end of June, up from $1.9 billion at the end of March, and management is expecting $7 billion to $9 billion in ARR this year.
Total customer commitments exceeding $40 billion support management's projections. Anchor customers include hyperscalers spending the most on AI, such as Microsoft and Meta Platforms.
High-growth companies often come with more risk, and that's the case with Nebius. It's completely reliant on the AI build-out, as about 98% of its revenue comes from AI cloud sales. It's a capital-intensive business with massive spending requirements, and capital expenditures (capex) were $5.7 billion in Q2 2026, nearly 10 times its revenue that quarter. Even after the recent dip, it still trades at about 34 times trailing sales (as of Oct. 19).
There's no strict definition of a millionaire-maker stock, but my rule of thumb is a potential 100-bagger that could turn a $10,000 investment into $1 million. That's highly unlikely for Nebius, because it would need to go from a market cap of $46 billion to $4.6 trillion. The AI cloud company is still worth considering if you're looking for investments with explosive growth potential, as long as you're prepared for volatility and go in with reasonable expectations.
