Dogecoin Trading Volume Almost Double Of Solana. Rollblock Pundits Hoping To Go More As Crypto Presale Enters Stage 9

Source Cryptopolitan

The DeFi race has just begun, and crypto enthusiasts are rushing to fill up their bags with DOGE, SOL, and Rollblock’s RBLK. The numbers don’t lie; Dogecoin’s volume flipped Solana’s, with DOGE’s trading volume increasing to $7 billion at the time of writing. However, that doesn’t mean that Solana is left behind. If anything, Solana’s ecosystem has registered a 400% uptick in transactional volume on its DeFi Phantom wallet.

That is a clear signal of a rising bullish sentiment towards DeFi and meme coins. Even Rollblock’s crypto presale has registered an uptick of interest, with its RBLK token surging 310% since the launch of the presale. Early investors have so far raised nearly $7 million, and analysts anticipate an uptick once RBLK launches on the exchange.

Dogecoin’s trading volume surpasses Solana’s

Trading volume on any cryptocurrency is an indication of how many traders and investors are paying attention to a particular coin. Just recently, DOGE’s trading volume surpassed Solana’s $5 billion and now sits around $7 billion. While trading volume is always volatile, it’s always used by traders as an early indicator of a bull run or massive sell-off.

For DOGE’s case, this uptick in trading volume shows increased interest in DOGE now that Bitcoin has breached $100,000. Bullish traders on DOGE believe that the leading dog-themed meme coin could soon hit $1. That would be a near 2x rally from its current price.

Solana’s SOL tipped to surge as Phantom volume increases

While DOGE is getting ready to soar, Solana’s SOL is next in line. Recent reports show that Solana’s most popular DeFi wallet – Phantom– has registered a 400% uptick in transactional volume. Solana’s meme coin mania has been the overarching theme of crypto in 2024, and onlookers anticipate further upticks, as seen by recently launched meme coins that are now live on major crypto exchanges like Binance.

Hovering around $235, SOL is expected to reach $275 on its way to new ATHs.

Rollblock’s crypto presale raises over $6.9 million

Rollblock is a GambleFi protocol on track to disrupt the global online gambling market, whose value is set to peak at $744 billion by 2028. Rollblock’s ongoing crypto presale has already raised nearly $7 million, and its native RBLK token has surged over 310%, a move that has seen analysts anticipate an additional 800% uptick on launch.

Rolblock’s crypto presale is on track to establish the world’s first leading GambleFi protocol built on Ethereum’s blockchain. Rollblock is designed for both novice and expert casino players. Every game is similar to what you would find in a regular casino.

The world of online gambling is only growing bigger, and Rollblock is on track to lead the charge with a transparent and accountable platform. To begin with, Rollblock is community-centric, given that a stake in the casino’s profits is distributed among RBLK holders and casino players through bonuses and rewards. There is also a 30% APY staking program.

Plus, the games are provably fair, and every transaction is recorded on the blockchain. This gives players peace of mind, and with high payouts, casino lovers can have a good time while earning passively. So far, only 60% of Rollblock’s RBLK tokens are up for grabs. Rollblock has additional perks in its roadmap including token burn events.

Bitcoin briefly loses 2025 gains as crypto plunges over the weekend.Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline this weekend, briefly erasing its 2025 gains and dipping below its year-opening value of $93,507. The cryptocurrency fell to a low of $93,029 on Sunday, representing a 25% drop from its all-time high in October. Although it has rebounded slightly to around $94,209, the pressures on the market remain significant. The downturn occurred despite the reopening of the U.S. government on Thursday, which many had hoped would provide essential support for crypto markets. This year initially appeared promising for cryptocurrencies, particularly after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, who has established the most pro-crypto administration thus far. However, ongoing political tensions—including Trump's tariff strategies and the recent government shutdown, lasting a historic 43 days—have contributed to several rapid price pullbacks for Bitcoin throughout the year. Market dynamics are also being influenced by Bitcoin whales—investors holding large amounts of Bitcoin—who have been offloading portions of their assets, consequently stalling price rallies even as positive regulatory developments emerge. Despite these sell-offs, analysts from Glassnode argue that this behavior aligns with typical patterns seen among long-term investors during the concluding stages of bull markets, suggesting it is not indicative of a mass exodus. Notably, Bitcoin is not alone in its struggles, as Ethereum and Solana have also recorded declines of 7.95% and 28.3%, respectively, since the start of the year, while numerous altcoins have faced even steeper losses. Looking ahead, questions linger regarding the viability of the four-year cycle thesis, particularly given the increasing institutional support and regulatory frameworks now in place in the crypto landscape. Matt Hougan, chief investment officer at Bitwise, remains optimistic, suggesting a potential Bitcoin resurgence in 2026 driven by the “debasement trade” thesis and a broader trend toward increased adoption of stablecoins, tokenization, and decentralized finance. Hougan emphasized the soundness of the underlying fundamentals, pointing to a positive outlook for the sector in the longer term.
