Resident Evil 9 Reveal happening soon according to fans

Resident Evil fans are expecting the announcement for the Resident Evil 9 reveal soon. The major reason is the newly created Meta Critic page for the anticipated release.

Recently, Resident Evil 9 page was created on Metacritic giving hope to the fans. The page has close to none information except that the game will be available for PS5 and Xbox series as well.

Fans are positive about the reveal of the popular survival horror game in the near future. Although their expectation also relied heavily on the PlayStation State of Play event, but the event came and went without any green signal for the game. Still, the fans are pretty sure that Capcom is soon doing to drop the big reveal.

Resident Evil fans are also expecting the RE9 announcement on the Xbox Partner event

On October 14th Xbox Partner preview was announced for October 17th at 7 pm. The event spanning 25 mins will have major announcements regarding 15 games.

Following this announcement, fans have their fingers eagerly crossed for the Xbox event.

The same user further speculated taking the GTA 6 trailer reveal as an example. GTA 6 also got listed on MetaCritic three days before the first big trailer was dropped.

Resident Evil 9 announcement seems to be postponed until 2025

Fans’ manifestations for the trailer reveal could become true. The reason for this is that since 2019 Capcom always released something associated with the Resident Evil franchise. Starting from the Resident Evil 2 remake, followed by part 3 with the Resident Evil multiplayer as well in 2020. In 2021 Resident Evil Village was released. While in 2022 the Re: Verse multiplayer was launched. The last release has been the Resident Evil 4 remake in 2023.

Therefore fans are waiting till The Game Awards in December, anticipating the announcement of the event as 2024 concludes.

Even so, most of 2024 has passed without any announcement regarding the franchise, which seems to shift to next year. Therefore fans should hold their hopes for any 2024 Resident Evil release.

In addition to the release date of Resident Evil 9, fans have also been speculating about the setting of the game. There had been a rumor that the story of Resident Evil 9 would be based on an island inspired by Singapore.

Lastly, there are other rumors about the development of Resident Evil Code: Veronica alongside the remake of Resident Evil Zero.

However, rumors should be taken with a pinch of salt until any official announcement confirms it.
