1. Netflix

Shares of Netflix hit a two-year low on Wednesday after offering up disappointing guidance. The 11.5% revenue increase it's now targeting for the final three months of this year would be its worst showing in more than three years. After raising prices in the U.S. and other markets earlier this year -- and continuing to expand its ad-based tiers -- decelerating revenue isn't a good look for Netflix stock.

After crushing Wall Street profit targets in the third quarter, the leading premium video service's outlook for the current quarter is below analysts' expectations. Laying off 6% of its workforce earlier this month with a couple of high-profile departures wasn't a good sign. Netflix also lowered its ad revenue projection for this year. The ad-supported revenue stream, which was supposed to be a healthy addition to its monthly subscriptions, still accounts for just 5% of its business.

The narrative may not seem to warrant a stock shedding nearly half of its value over the past year. Netflix continues to be the undisputed leader in premium digital video, with more than 300 million members worldwide. It posted double-digit revenue growth across all four of its geographical territories.

Profit targets may start to inch lower in the near term, but Netflix is intriguingly priced at 17 times current earnings estimates for next year. This remains a scalable business. No one is generating the kind of revenue that Netflix is from premium streaming, even with recent industry consolidation fortifying some of its rivals. Netflix has a lot to prove right now, but being the dominant player in an expanding industry usually works out in the long run.

2. Oklo

One of last year's hottest stocks has cooled down over the past year. The next-gen energy stock was a nine-bagger in 2025 by the time it peaked in October of last year. It has surrendered 86% of its value since reaching that all-time high.

Oklo stock was a market darling last year because of its technology. Oklo's strengths in fast fission and nuclear recycling made it a popular choice among AI investors. There was a public outcry for clean energy solutions to combat the heavy power consumption of data centers. The problem? Oklo was just getting started in deploying its promising tech.

It just started to generate revenue this year. It's not expected to top $10 million -- yes, million -- on the top line next year. Profitability is at least five years away. The promise of more efficient and eco-friendly power to fuel the booming demand of agentic AI is real, and growth should scale quickly from here. Analysts see it generating $312 million in revenue by 2030. Even today's crushed market cap of $5.2 billion may seem high until you consider that nearly half of that is backed by its cash-rich balance sheet. The technology remains promising, but the stock will continue to be volatile.

3. Intuitive Surgical

The kindest one-year stock chart here belongs to Intuitive Surgical. The pioneer of robotic surgical arms that assist in a growing number of medical procedures is down a modest 7% over the past year, but the shares have lost almost a quarter of their value in 2026.

After kicking off 2026 with what could have been its fourth consecutive year of accelerating top-line growth, analysts see revenue slowing to 13% in the new quarter. This would be its weakest year-over-year growth in nearly three years. Analysts are bracing for continued deceleration in 2027.

Intuitive Surgical stock faces competitive threats to its da Vinci platform, which once revolutionized the operating room. This could be an opportunity. Earnings estimates continue to inch higher, and it has posted double-digit-percentage bottom-line beats consistently over the past year. There are viable alternatives emerging, but the bears underestimate the learning curve and switching costs of moving away from a proven platform.
