Crypto Market Rallies as Bitcoin Reclaims $82,000, Ether Tops $2,400

TradingKey - Crypto Market Stages Strong Rebound! Bitcoin Reclaims $82,000, Ether Breaks Above $2,400.

On October 19, after enduring a deleveraging flush triggered by the shock of the US September CPI/PPI inflation data, the cryptocurrency market demonstrated significant technical V-shaped rebound momentum, with total market capitalization approaching $2.8 trillion, largely returning to levels seen on the eve of the economic data release.

Meanwhile, mainstream coins rebounded to reclaim key levels. Among them, Bitcoin (BTC) successfully returned to the $82,000 institutional cost floor zone, while Ether (ETH) also successfully broke through the $2,400 round-number mark, driven by a recovery in Layer 2 staking demand and Layer 1 gas fees, while Ripple (XRP) also returned above $1.30.

Although high inflation data dampened expectations for aggressive Fed rate cuts, the shock of the data release—the market's biggest fear—has passed, and safe-haven capital has begun returning to highly elastic mainstream digital assets, with bullish market sentiment gradually recovering.
