Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.67%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal&Household Goods, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.67%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 1.65% or 4.40 points to trade at 271.80 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.35% or 0.70 points to end at 199.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 0.31% or 0.40 points to 129.90 in late trade.

Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which lost 3.56% or 4.80 points to trade at 130.00 in late trade. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.56% or 80.00 points to end at 3,040.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) shed 1.81% or 19.00 points to 1,030.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 47 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.44% or 1.71 to $71.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.19% or 1.63 to hit $75.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.62% or 17.10 to trade at $2,756.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 103.79.
