On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 30, 2026, Forum Energy Tech (NYSE:FET) raised its full-year 2026 financial outlook across revenue, adjusted earnings, and cash flow. The energy equipment provider is leveraging proprietary technology to capture higher revenue per drilling rig globally while keeping capital expenditure low.

Three things management said stand out.

1. International Expansion Drives Sales Growth Outside the United States

Forum Energy Tech relies on exporting North American shale technologies to higher-growth foreign markets to expand its market share. This strategy reduces dependence on domestic drilling activity and lifts overall sales efficiency.

International revenue year to date is up 31% year over year compared to last year, reflecting both healthy customer demand and strong execution by regional teams.
-- Neal Lux, President and Chief Executive Officer

2. Targeted Product Innovation Unlocks New Addressable Markets

Continuous development of specialized consumables, which are single-use parts worn down during drilling operations, opens fresh commercial avenues. Meanwhile, a new tube design for perforating gun housings used in hydraulic fracturing is expanding the company's reach.

The introduction of this product expands our addressable market by approximately $200 million.
-- Neal Lux, President and Chief Executive Officer

3. Disciplined Acquisitions Preserve Balance Sheet Flexibility

Management completed the purchase of Premier TorqueRings, a maker of downhole casing tools, for $33 million while maintaining low leverage. Paying partly with stock keeps cash available for future debt reduction or additional buybacks.

Using a combination of cash and equity allowed us to complete the Premier acquisition while preserving balance sheet capacity to pursue additional strategic investments.
-- David Lyle Williams Jr., Chief Financial Officer

Looking Ahead

Global energy demand and elevated oil prices should provide steady activity tailwinds across international markets. The company, meanwhile, is relying on its capital-light model to convert operating earnings into free cash flow while capturing additional market share per rig.

Elevated commodity prices are driving activity higher; large service companies are expecting broad based growth.
-- Neal Lux, President and Chief Executive Officer

With net debt falling and international adoption accelerating, the business remains focused on its long-term operational targets.

Looking ahead to 2027 and beyond, our FET 2030 plan targets doubling revenue, quadrupling EBITDA, and tripling free cash flow versus 2025.
-- Neal Lux, President and Chief Executive Officer

Brent's $115 front month sits $4.6 above January — the $14 spread to WTI is the supply-risk premiumDecember Brent trades at $115.29 while January is $110.71, a $4.58 backwardation. The December Brent-WTI spread is $14.2, versus a $3-5 normal. That gap, not the headline, is where the Middle East supply risk is priced.
