Ethereum (ETH) racked up a 2% gain on Tuesday, defying the correction seen in Bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies after SharpLink Gaming revealed it expanded its treasury holdings to over 280,000 ETH in the past week.
Ethereum (ETH) climbed above $2,900 on Thursday, mimicking the rally seen in Bitcoin. Amid the influence of the top cryptocurrency, strong buying pressure across ETH exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and crypto treasury companies have also pushed up ETH's price.
The cryptocurrency market shows signs of cooling after staging a recovery from the weekend sell-off. Bitcoin (BTC) led the upswing, briefly stepping above $108,000 on Thursday before pulling back to consolidate at around $107,147 at the time of writing on Friday.
