If you've seen one billionaire investor's portfolio... you've seen one billionaire investor's portfolio. The super-wealthy don't always see eye to eye on where to put their money.

However, that's not always the case. Here are two stocks that billionaires seemingly can't stop buying.

Missed Nvidia in 2009? This Rare Signal Is Flashing Again. In 2009, a "Double Down" signal flashed for a little-known chipmaker called Nvidia. For the first time in years, that same "Total Conviction" signal is flashing for a company 1/100th the size of Nvidia. Continue »

1. Alphabet

Several years ago, Warren Buffett stated in an interview that he regretted not investing earlier in Google, which later created a parent holding company, Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL). In 2025, Buffett corrected his mistake by initiating a position in the technology giant Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRKA) (NYSE: BRKB).

Although Buffett stepped down as Berkshire's CEO at the end of 2025, he has been active in directing the conglomerate's investing activity this year. The "Oracle of Omaha" acknowledged that he was behind Berkshire's dramatic increase in its stake in Alphabet in the first half of 2026. The stock now ranks as Berkshire's fourth-largest holding.

Two other billionaires have also scooped up Alphabet's shares this year. Stanley Druckenmiller initiated a new position in the stock in the second quarter for his Duquesne Family Office, buying 336,300 shares. Ken Fisher increased his stake in Alphabet through Fisher Asset Management by roughly 939,000 shares.

2. Eli Lilly

Fisher also added nearly 5% to his position in Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) in the second quarter. Fisher Asset Management's position in the giant drugmaker was valued at $6.1 billion at the end of Q2.

His fellow billionaire, Ken Griffin, also seems to really like Lilly. Griffin's Citadel Advisors hedge fund boosted its position in the pharma stock by a whopping 291% in the second quarter. Lilly now ranks as Griffin's eighth-largest holding.

Should you buy Alphabet and Lilly, too?

No one should invest their hard-earned money in any stock just because billionaires have done so. Your investing goals and risk tolerance could be very different from theirs. Importantly, the dynamics of stocks in billionaires' portfolios could have changed since they bought them. That said, I think Alphabet and Lilly are good picks right now.

Alphabet is a leader in many of the key technologies poised to shape the future. Google Cloud is a top cloud platform. Google Gemini consistently ranks among the most powerful artificial intelligence (AI) models. Google Quantum AI is pioneering quantum computing. Alphabet's Waymo unit has a big head start in autonomous ride-sharing.

Lilly is the world's largest healthcare company by market cap. It's the leader in the fast-growing obesity drug market. The drugmaker is also a major player in several other areas, including cancer, diabetes, and immunology.

Blindly copying billionaire investors' moves isn't wise. However, the reasons why Buffett, Druckenmiller, and Fisher like Alphabet and Fisher and Griffin like Lilly are sound. Both stocks should be market-beaters over the long run, in my view.
