Pi Network Makes 4 Changes Before Its Biggest Ecosystem Push Yet

Source Beincrypto

Pi Network released four tools for app builders and businesses just three weeks before its first Ecosystem Summit. Its token barely moved and trades near $0.078.

The token’s last two big product events were followed by falling prices. PI is down about 13% this month and 97% below its February 2025 peak of $2.99. Will this latest update have any impact on PI coin price?

All New Changes to Pi Network Ecosystem

The Developer Portal, where outside developers set up apps that use Pi logins and payments, got a new layout. Settings such as access keys, app wallets, and domains now sit in one place, according to the announcement.

AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can now package apps for SoloHost. That service lets people host apps on their own computers through Pi Desktop.

Pi BlockExplorer, a public website that records network activity, now charts prices for trial tokens such as SLICE. Pi says these test tokens will never reach its live network.

PiVerify, Pi’s identity-check service for other companies, added duplicate-face and repeat live-person checks to catch fake accounts. Pi says business clients pay for it in PI.

Why Past Pi Events Did Not Lift the Price

Pi’s design offers two routes to token demand. Companies pay for PiVerify in PI, and projects on Launchpad, Pi’s token-launch tool, must pool the PI they raise.

However, PI hit about $0.27 before Pi’s March 14 Pi Day release, then fell roughly 33% in a week. After the June 28 Pi2Day launches, it slid about 12% over eight days, CoinGecko data shows.

Pi has not disclosed PiVerify prices or client numbers. It has set no date for the first live Launchpad token either.

PI did hold up this week. The Pi Network price has gained about 2% since the Binance hack drained roughly $6.15 billion on October 29.

The online summit runs November 17 to 19 with app demos and a planned hackathon. Launchpad timing and PiVerify demand remain open going in.

Anthropic files for a $2 trillion IPO — the $80.7 billion loss is the decoy, the $450 billion compute bill is the riskAnthropic publicly filed its S-1 on October 26, revealing $16.29 billion of first-half revenue (+1,304% year over year) and a $80.7 billion net loss — of which $72.4 billion is a non-cash convertible-note charge. The real number is the $450 billion of signed, mostly non-cancelable compute commitments. Here is what the filing says, why NVDA, ARM and MU are the tradeable read-through, and the conditions that decide whether the AI trade passes its first public valuation test.

Brent's $115 front month sits $4.6 above January — the $14 spread to WTI is the supply-risk premiumDecember Brent trades at $115.29 while January is $110.71, a $4.58 backwardation. The December Brent-WTI spread is $14.2, versus a $3-5 normal. That gap, not the headline, is where the Middle East supply risk is priced. Here is what the curve says, why the December contract's expiry on October 30 will mechanically cut the headline by $4.6, and the 108.81 neckline that decides the next move.
