The crypto market will welcome tokens worth $845.8 million in the third week of October 2026. Major projects, including Cronos (CRO), Arbitrum (ARB), and Starknet (STRK), will release significant new token supplies.
These unlocks could introduce market volatility and influence short-term price movements. So, here’s a breakdown of what to watch.
Cronos is a Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem developed alongside Crypto.com. It runs an EVM-compatible chain, Cronos EVM, and a Cosmos SDK-based chain, Cronos POS. CRO is the network’s native token, used for transaction fees and staking.
On October 17, Cronos will unlock 1.17 billion CRO worth $70.85 million. The tokens account for 2.33% of the released supply.
The entire release will go to a single allocation, the Cronos Strategic Reserve.
Arbitrum is a Layer-2 scaling solution built for Ethereum (ETH). It enhances transaction speed and reduces costs while maintaining the security of the Ethereum network.
The blockchain achieves this by utilizing ‘optimistic rollups,’ which process transactions off-chain and submit them to the Ethereum mainnet for validation.
On October 16, Arbitrum will unlock 92.65 million tokens into the market. The tokens are worth $18.40 million and represent 1.56% of the released supply.
Arbitrum will award 56.13 million ARB from the unlocked supply to the team, future team, and advisors. Moreover, investors will gain 36.52 million tokens.
Starknet is an Ethereum Layer-2 scaling solution built with STARK-based zero-knowledge rollups. STRK is the network’s native utility and governance token.
On October 15, Starknet will release 127 million STRK worth $15.42 million. The supply accounts for 3.37% of the released supply.
Early contributors will receive 66.61 million STRK from the unlock. In addition, investors will get 60.39 million tokens.
In addition to these three, Connex (CONX), Cheelee (CHEEL), and Aerodrome Finance (AERO) will also experience new supply entering the market this week. Tokenomist has marked the Cronos, Arbitrum, and Starknet unlocks as pending verification, so these figures remain projections.
