Israel Announces Attack on Iran, Cryptocurrencies Slump Across the Board, Bitcoin Drops Below $64,000

TradingKey - According to the Associated Press, an attack occurred near the office of Iran's Supreme Leader. Israeli Defense Minister Katz has declared an immediate nationwide state of emergency.
He stated that Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran to eliminate threats to Israel. An Israeli security official said the attack on Iran was the result of joint action between Israel and the U.S. As of now, explosions have occurred in three locations in Tehran; the U.S. has yet to respond to the situation.
Cryptocurrencies slumped across the board, with Bitcoin plunging more than 4.2%, at one point falling from $64,000 to below $63,100. Ethereum plummeted over 4.6% to below $1,841, and Solana tumbled 5.6% to below $78.
