Testing volumes are soaring

CareDx's revenue surged 39% year over year to $139 million in the third quarter. The gains were driven by a 65% jump in testing services revenue to $119 million.

The healthcare specialist's testing volumes climbed 51% to 75,900, boosted by its acquisition of cancer blood-test maker Naveris in July.

"Clinicians want actionable precision molecular information about their patient's disease status and how it is changing over time to inform treatment decisions," CEO John Hanna said during a conference call with analysts.

Additionally, growth in CareDx's pharmacy services helped to drive a 31% increase in the company's patient and digital solutions revenue to $20 million.

All told, CareDx's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) doubled to $30 million.

Interest in precision medicine diagnostics is rising

CareDx now sees full-year revenue growing by roughly 38% to $525 million in 2026. Management also raised its adjusted EBITDA target to $90 million to $100 million, up from a prior forecast of $66 million to $78 million.

"We see significant clinical interest in how molecular information can inform more decisions across a patient's care journey, while continuing to make our solutions easier for providers to adopt and patients to access," Hanna said. "We believe these dynamics create meaningful opportunities for continued profitable growth."
