  • Year-to-date free cash flow reached $11.4 billion.

  • Management expects full-year organic revenue growth of at least 5%.

On its Q3 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 27, 2026, Coca-Cola (NYSE:KO) announced that it expects full-year organic revenue to grow at least 5%. Consistent volume gains demonstrate that brand loyalty protects cash flow in volatile macroeconomic markets. Disciplined capital management provides flexibility to absorb external legal and tax liabilities.

Three things that management said stand out.

1. Affordability Programs Drive Consumer Recruitment

Management is leaning into smaller single-serve packaging and localized pricing architectures to keep price-sensitive shoppers buying core brands. Maintaining customer volume during high inflation protects global market share without sacrificing long-term pricing power.

While every market is different, three themes were consistent. One, affordability is working. Two, both zero sugar and original taste are recruiting consumers. And three, execution and local relevance are helping us win.
-- Henrique Braun, Chief Executive Officer

2. Capital Allocation Remains Focused on Shareholder Returns

Free cash flow, which is cash left over after operating expenses and equipment purchases, reached $11.4 billion year to date. Management is prioritizing organic reinvestment and cash distribution over speculative acquisitions while maintaining a low debt balance.

Our priorities remain the same: invest in our business and return capital to shareowners.
-- John Murphy, President and Chief Financial Officer

3. Refranchising Bottling Operations Improves Profit Margins

Refranchising, or selling company-owned bottling operations to independent partners, reduces recorded top-line revenue but lowers capital requirements. Transferring bottling assets, such as Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), boosts profitability metrics and long-term return on invested capital.

With the anticipated refranchising of CCBA, we expect an eight-point headwind to comparable net revenues and a two-point headwind to comparable earnings per share, but expect positive impacts to both our margins and the return profile of our business.
-- John Murphy, President and Chief Financial Officer

Looking Ahead

While exposure to rising commodity prices remains manageable, Coca-Cola is navigating persistent operational headwinds that could impact near-term margins.

We are seeing elevated cost pressures in aggregate, driven by increased logistics and transportation costs.
-- John Murphy, President and Chief Financial Officer

An unmatched bottling network and pricing power give the company structural advantages in absorbing inflation. Management is focusing on pricing discipline and cross-enterprise procurement, which is joint commodity buying across corporate and partner bottlers.

Brand equity and digital marketing investments keep consumer engagement high, setting the stage for stable, long-term compounding.

The actions we're taking are helping us deliver today while strengthening our ability to create value for the long term.
-- Henrique Braun, Chief Executive Officer
