On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 27, 2026, Galaxy (NASDAQ:GLXY) announced net income of $323 million after expanding its data center leasing and digital asset operations. The performance highlights how long-term infrastructure investments diversify earnings and reduce reliance on volatile trading markets.

Three key takeaways from management stand out.

1. Data Center Leasing Generates Long-Term Contracted Cash Flows

Galaxy generates steady rental income from phase one of Helios, the company's primary data center campus in Texas, and plans to scale capacity as phase two comes online next year. This predictable revenue stream helps stabilize the overall financial profile of the business.

We are now generating approximately $80 million of leasing revenue per quarter from Phase I. As Phase II comes online next year, we expect to exit 2027 at an annualized leasing revenue run rate of between $80 million to $150 million.
-- Michael Edward Novogratz, Founder and CEO

2. Management Maintains Capital Discipline on Data Center Deals

Galaxy delayed signing a lease for phase two of Helios after market dynamics shifted in late summer, choosing to protect long-term shareholder value rather than rush an announcement. Management also authorized an additional $200 million share repurchase program to buy back stock when prices drop below intrinsic value.

These are large long term agreements, and we are not going to compromise on terms just to meet an announcement date. We continue to have productive and active discussions with prospective customers with a focus on maximizing long term value for shareholders.
-- Michael Edward Novogratz, Founder and CEO

3. On-Chain Financial Architecture Drives Long-Term Digital Strategy

Galaxy spent years building infrastructure for digital assets, which are financial tokens and virtual currencies managed on decentralized blockchain networks. Management believes traditional financial markets will increasingly shift to these systems over the next several years.

I have a tremendous amount of conviction that the financial architecture developed by the crypto industry will underpin much of how the financial system operates in the future. Galaxy has spent years investing in these capabilities, and we are still early.
-- Michael Edward Novogratz, Founder and CEO

Looking Ahead

Contracted leasing cash flows and institutional crypto adoption are accelerating, and management is openly optimistic about the transformation. Galaxy holds competitive advantages in long-term data center power capacity at Helios, its flagship infrastructure campus, while maintaining $4.9 billion in cash, stablecoins, which are digital currencies pegged to traditional fiat money, and government treasury bills. Management is watching credit market stability and regulatory frameworks for tokenization, the process of converting real-world assets into digital blockchain tokens.

We have established a digital asset franchise with significant earnings power, growing opportunities for recurring fee based revenue, and a data center business that is adding long term contracted cash flows.
-- Michael Edward Novogratz, Founder and CEO

Capital discipline and long-term infrastructure investments remain central as Galaxy balances data center expansion against share repurchases and market shifts.

Stock markets are weighing machines, and we really hope that you know, in 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, and 36 months when we are weighed, the conclusion of the equity market is that we are worth a lot more than we are today.
-- Michael Edward Novogratz, Founder and CEO
