TradingKey - Binance Completes 37th BNB Quarterly Burn! Over 1.6 Million Tokens Erased as Circulating Supply Shrinks Sharply.
On October 19, the BNB Foundation officially announced the completion of the 37th BNB Chain quarterly token auto-burn (Q3 2026). As of press time, BNB remained above $700, trading at $724.76.

Through an automated algorithmic mechanism, this round of burn by Binance successfully removed 1,646,196.44 BNB from the circulating market permanently. Based on the reference average price at the time of the burn, the total burned value reached nearly $1 billion to $1.2 billion. This represents one of the largest single-quarter deflationary burns in cryptocurrency history, further reinforcing BNB's long-term asset scarcity and tokenomics moat.
Unlike the earlier model that relied on manual buybacks and burns driven by Binance exchange quarterly profits, BNB currently adopts a highly transparent and verifiable dual-track deflationary architecture: 1. Quarterly Auto-Burn: When the BNB price is lower or on-chain activity rises, the burn quantity automatically increases; when the price is high, the burn quantity slows down appropriately, ensuring the objectivity and predictability of the deflationary mechanism; 2. Beyond quarterly burns, BSC validators burn a specific portion of gas fees in real time when processing every on-chain transaction.
By wiping out over 1.6 million BNB in this round of burning, the BNB Foundation has once again demonstrated to the market its execution capability regarding BNB's constant supply-side deflation. Although single-day burn news may not trigger an immediate price surge, the continuous reduction in supply, coupled with increasing ecosystem demand from on-chain RWA and AI applications, will provide solid value support for BNB's price over the medium to long term.
