West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil price extends its gains for the third successive day, trading around $92.30 during the Asian hours on Wednesday. Crude oil prices rise as the US struck several Iranian tankers near Kharg Island, a major crude export hub.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average trades near 52,900, roughly 190 points lower, in the first session since Friday. Crude Oil has risen for six days running and the two-year Treasury yield sits at its highest since January 2025. Neither is an equity story by itself.
AUD/USD holds firm on Tuesday as the US Dollar (USD) struggles to gain traction, while the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) hawkish stance further supports the Australian Dollar (AUD).
