Millrose authorized a $250 million share repurchase program.
Non-Lennar investments reached 42% of total assets after funding DreamFinders.
The company invested $120 million in a single-family rental pilot portfolio.
On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 27, 2026, Millrose (NYSE:MRP) announced a $250 million share repurchase program. The capital plan allows the company to buy back stock whenever shares trade at a discount to book value.
Three things management said stand out.
Management expanded invested capital outside the Lennar Master Program Agreement, the primary contract governing land banking with homebuilder Lennar, to 42% of its asset base following acquisition financing for DreamFinders.
Pro forma for that transaction, approximately 42% of our asset base is now invested outside the Lennar master program agreement.
-- Darren L. Richman, Chief Executive Officer and President
The board authorized a $250 million share buyback program to repurchase stock when shares trade below book value, which stood at $35.24 per share at quarter end.
When our shares trade at a meaningful discount to book value, repurchasing those shares can represent a more attractive use of a portion of our earnings than distributing every dollar as a dividend.
-- Darren L. Richman, Chief Executive Officer and President
Management launched a pilot program in single-family rental housing to evaluate homebuyer demand and financing structures, capping equity commitment at just over 1% of total assets.
Our initial net equity investment of approximately $120 million represents just over 1% of our asset base, with an additional approximately $50 million of anticipated future investment under our community build to rent commitments.
-- Darren L. Richman, Chief Executive Officer and President
Contractual cash flows from land banking agreements remain steady despite housing market pressures.
Our core business remains strong. We continue to have excellent visibility into our cash flows, and no customers walked away from an agreement or threatened to do so.
-- Darren L. Richman, Chief Executive Officer and President
The platform relies on proprietary underwriting technology, permanent capital, and counterparty diversification across 22 homebuilder clients to protect value. Management is watching counterparty health, land recycling velocity, and pricing discipline across housing cycles.
We are not interested in managing Millrose simply for the conditions that exist today. We are building a business designed to succeed through the conditions we cannot yet predict.
