Geopolitical attention remains focused on US President Donald Trump, who is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly later in the day. His agenda includes a possible side meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, alongside planned talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and leaders from other Gulf nations throughout the week. Adding to these diplomatic efforts, the Trump administration has proposed establishing a $5 billion fund to support the reconstruction of war-damaged infrastructure across the Middle East.
Wall Street posted gains in overnight trading, with major averages rallying at the start of the week on Monday. The risk-on tone was not confined to the US, as Deutsche Bank also flagged "broad gains in Europe, where the STOXX 600 (+1.02%), the DAX (+1.07%) and the CAC 40 (+0.92%) all climbed."

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, one of the oldest stock market indices in the world, is compiled of the 30 most traded stocks in the US.
