TradingKey - On November 3 Eastern Time, as of press time, cybersecurity company CrowdStrike (CRWD) rose 0.78% in pre-market trading to $243.7.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the two transactions total approximately $495 million, with the acquisition of Fiddler AI valued at around $400 million and Dreadnode at around $95 million. CrowdStrike did not officially disclose the transaction amounts. Both acquisitions are expected to close in the fourth quarter of the company's fiscal year 2027.

Fiddler AI primarily provides AI agent observability and explainability technologies, helping enterprises track agent decision-making processes, tool calls, and execution behaviors, analyze their underlying rationale, and detect behavioral drift or unintended operations.

Dreadnode focuses on automated AI security testing, detecting security vulnerabilities in AI models, applications, and agent systems by simulating prompt injections, jailbreaks, and multi-turn attacks.

Falcon is CrowdStrike's cloud-native cybersecurity platform, encompassing endpoint protection, threat detection and response, and cloud security. These acquisitions will further expand the Falcon platform's AI agent security capabilities.

Among them, Fiddler AI's technology will be integrated into Falcon Observe to evaluate AI agent performance, track behavior, and analyze decisions; Dreadnode's testing results will be used to refine Falcon Guardian's security policies while strengthening CrowdStrike's SafeMind model. Related features are expected to roll out in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2027.

Meanwhile, CrowdStrike also launched an AI agent "AI Kill Switch" within Falcon Guardian. When an AI agent deviates from preset behavior or exhibits abnormal operations, enterprise security personnel can terminate its operation, block its restart, and sever its access to the enterprise network.

Currently, this feature initially supports terminating agents at the gateway level, while direct termination capabilities at the endpoint device level will be rolled out later.

By acquiring Fiddler AI and Dreadnode and launching the AI Kill Switch, CrowdStrike is expanding the Falcon platform's security support for AI agents, covering pre-deployment testing, runtime monitoring, and anomaly handling.

Investors can subsequently monitor the integration progress of the two acquisitions, as well as whether related features can drive new customer additions and revenue growth for the Falcon platform.
