Key Points

On its third-quarter 2026 earnings call, held on Oct. 29, 2026, Tradeweb (NASDAQ:TW) reported revenue of $1.7 billion through the first nine months of the year, surpassing its full-year 2024 total. The company is capitalizing on a structural shift from manual voice trading toward electronic workflows across global debt markets. Three things management said stand out.

1. Swaps Market Electronification Offers Multiyear Runway

Cleared interest rate swaps remain heavily manual across global markets, leaving room for electronic trading platforms to capture market share as trading shifts online.

With just 30% of the cleared swaps market currently electronified, there is substantial runway to digitize workflow alongside our clients.
-- William E. Hult, Chief Executive Officer

2. Primary Market Acquisition Connects Hedge Fund Liquidity

Buying Tri-Med gives the platform an entry point into new bond issuances while broadening client coverage among high-velocity hedge funds.

New issue gets the market's attention, especially among an extremely important client base, which is obviously, the hedge funds. And I think Tri-Med has used that very well to cross sell into RFQ.
-- William E. Hult, Chief Executive Officer

3. Geographic Diversification Powers Growth Beyond Domestic Markets

Expansion across European and Asian trading desks reduces reliance on domestic debt volume while deepening global liquidity networks.

International continued to fire on all cylinders this quarter, contributing more than 60% of overall revenue growth. Importantly, that strength was broad based.
-- William E. Hult, Chief Executive Officer

Looking Ahead

Average daily trading revenue jumped 26% year over year during early October as market volatility pushed global debt trading onto electronic platforms. Multi-currency clearing infrastructure, proprietary pricing tools, and deep dealer networks reinforce the business while management maintains pricing discipline across execution protocols.

The same drivers that power that powered the first 9 months are already carrying into the fourth quarter.
-- William E. Hult, Chief Executive Officer

Long-term value creation depends on converting voice trades into digital execution and scaling automated tools across new asset classes.

Some of these investments will take time to scale, but we continue to prize innovation and create durable long term growth opportunities.
-- Sara Hassan Furber, Chief Financial Officer
