Tokenized ARKVX goes live, bringing ARK's OpenAI and Anthropic stakes to Ethereum

ARK Invest is bringing its ARK Venture Fund onchain through Securitize, giving eligible investors access to a portfolio including OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe and Databricks.

Tokenized ARKVX went live on Ethereum on Sept. 24. This is the first ARK fund onchain.

The venture fund carries about $1.3 billion in net assets

Tokenizing ARKVX doesn’t put any shares of OpenAI or Anthropic directly on a blockchain. Investors get a blockchain version of their stake in the fund itself.

ARKVX is an actively managed closed-end interval fund that invests in private and public technology companies. ARK’s website says it has around $1.3 billion in net assets under management.

Securitize oversees onchain issuance and the investor experience. Ethereum is the first, and perhaps other networks will be added later.

Buyers pay in USDC, and fund tokens arrive once NAV is set, Securitize said.

“ARK has built its business around identifying transformative technologies early and then acting with conviction,” said Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize.

Cathie Wood’s firm backed Securitize in October 2025

Securitize plans to publish a daily net asset value for the fund and allow the tokenized interests to trade on blockchain-based markets. ARK’s fund disclosures still confine liquidity to periodic repurchase offers, which may be oversubscribed.

“Making the ARK Venture Fund available onchain is a natural extension of our mission to democratize access to technologically enabled disruptive innovation,” said ARK’s founder, CEO and CIO Cathie Wood.

The deal builds on ARK’s strategic investment in Securitize in October 2025. In October 2025, Cryptopolitan reported that ARK Venture Fund was among the backers of Securitize, along with BlackRock and Morgan Stanley.

Cryptopolitan reported Treasuries led the way as tokenized real-world assets exceeded $38 billion earlier this month.

Here is the repricing, the language behind it, and the two data points that decide it.

Memory chips surge, Nasdaq notches a second straight record close — why the Dow fell 185 points anywayMicron gained 5%, SanDisk 6.8%, Seagate 4% and Western Digital 3% as the memory complex led the Nasdaq Composite to a second consecutive record close of 27,244.28. US input costs rose at the fastest pace in four years — the September flash PMI beat is an inflation story, not a growth storyUS September flash PMIs came in far above expectations, with the composite at 58.4, a five-year high. But the detail that moved markets was input cost inflation at its fastest since October 2022, driven by fuel, transport and supply shortages. Brent is back above $100 and the 10-year Treasury yield has hit its highest since 2007.
