US Spot Solana ETFs Post Best Inflow Day of 2026 With $60.91 Million

Spot Solana ETFs in the US saw its best day of inflows this year on August 27 with $60.91 million flowing into the funds. Even with two more trading days to account for before the monthly close, August is already the best month of the year with inflows surpassing $134 million. Total net assets across all the nine funds rose to $1.49 billion from $1.26 billion a day earlier, with cumulative net inflows now sitting at $1.32 billion. Value traded reached $196.82 million yesterday which is more than double the figure traded on August 26.

Two other factors have added momentum to the growing SOL trade and both landed within the span of the same 24 hours.

Bitwise Took Two-Thirds of the Day

Out of the total daily inflow of $60.91 million, Bitwise’s BSOL fund drew in $40.20 million, which is about 66% of the inflows. BSOL now holds $1.02 billion in net assets against $1.01 billion cumulative inflows since launch, making it the only SOL product to go beyond the billion mark. Grayscale’s GSOL added $6.22 million, Fidelity’s FSOL $5.82 million and Morgan Stanley’s MSOL $4.74 million. 21Shares’ TSOL brought in $3.93 million on the day, though its cumulative net flow is still underwater at -$98.26 million.

Schwab Opens SOL to 39.9 Million Accounts

A couple of hours before the daily flows data was registered, Charles Schwab announced that it will add SOL, AVAX and LINK to Schwab Crypto, its own spot crypto trading product, in the coming months.

The ETFs already handed advisors a wrapper they could put in a model portfolio. Schwab going direct strips out a layer for retail investors who were never going to open a Phantom wallet. Neither channel needs the other to work, but both widening in the same week changes how much of the addressable pool can actually buy.

The Network Just Voted to Print Less and Burn More

Solana’s first onchain governance vote closed the same day on two proposals that squeeze SOL supply from opposite ends.

The first halves the rate at which new SOL enters circulation, pulling the network’s 1.5% inflation floor forward to roughly 2029 from 2032 and cutting about 18.9 million SOL from projected issuance over six years. The second rewrites transaction fee mechanics so a far larger share of fees gets destroyed rather than paid out, with daily burns potentially rising from around 648 SOL to somewhere between 7,500 and 9,000.

Vote closing is not the same as shipping. Implementation timelines on Solana proposals have slipped before, and the burn range is a projection tied to network activity rather than a fixed schedule.

SOL Back Above $105 for the First Time Since January

SOL traded at $109 on Aug 27, up roughly 44% across August and on pace for its strongest month since 2024. The last time it held above $105 was January.

What makes the setup unusual is the sequencing. Access expanded through two separate channels while the network moved to reduce issuance, all inside a single session. The flow number caught the attention, but $60.91 million against $1.49 billion in total assets is a good day, not a regime change. Whether the next few sessions hold anywhere near that pace tells you more than Aug 27 does on its own.
