TradingKey - On October 13 ET, Apple (AAPL) held a "Welcome home" event, unveiling HomeView, the second-generation HomePod mini, the new Apple TV 4K, and Apple Home Collection accessories, further expanding its smart home product lineup.

Driven by new product launches and market expectations, AAPL rose to an all-time high of $348.15 intraday before closing at $341.27, up 0.09% from the previous trading day. Apple's market capitalization briefly surpassed $5 trillion intraday, but fell back below that level by the close.

The new Apple TV 4K incorporates Siri AI and far-field microphones, supporting voice search for movie and TV content, control of smart home devices, and viewing camera notifications, and will be available on November 13.

Apple has also partnered with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to launch the Apple Home Collection, with products including smart door locks, cameras, video doorbells, and thermostats, priced from $199.95 to $399.95.

What Does It Mean for AAPL Revenue and Stock Price?

HomeView and related accessories have expanded Apple's product layout in the smart home sector. Short-term revenue mainly depends on device and accessory sales, while whether the services business can achieve significant growth as a result still awaits verification from pre-order figures, sales volume, and financial report data.

AAPL touched an intraday all-time high of $348.15 on October 13. The current stock price may have already priced in part of the expectations for new products and AI features, and future attention should be paid to product pre-orders, post-launch sales, user adoption, and the performance of the services business.

How to View AAPL Stock After Reaching a Record High?

If sales of new products are strong and Apple's services business continues to grow, the market may raise its revenue and earnings expectations for the company; if sales fall short of expectations, or if smart home and AI features have yet to generate meaningful revenue, the high valuation could increase stock price volatility.

Therefore, the key for AAPL after hitting new highs is not the product launches themselves, but whether products such as HomeView can achieve steady sales volume and make a measurable contribution to Apple's overall revenue and earnings.
