Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) is trying to turn blockbuster obesity drugs into something much bigger. Its path to $1,500 depends on whether new medicines, additional indications, manufacturing scale, and rising patient volumes can generate durable earnings sufficient to overcome pricing pressure and a demanding valuation.
