Boeing Secures $79.7M Award for E-4B Depot Maintenance

Boeing Co.’s Defense, Space & Security unit has been awarded a $79.7 million contract by the U.S. Department of Defense to perform depot maintenance on the E-4B aircraft.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract covers Programmed Depot Maintenance #8, delivering maintenance, repair and engineering services for the specialized airborne command posts. Work will be carried out in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska; and San Antonio, Texas.

Issued as a sole-source award, the contract obligated approximately $79,737,087 in fiscal 2025 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is the contracting activity. The work is scheduled for completion by December 21, 2026, under contract number FA8134-25-F-0001.
