TradingKey – Senior Democratic leaders are calling for the public disclosure of the guest list from the Trump Gala, alongside a comprehensive investigation into potential foreign gifts received by the President.
According to The Guardian (May 29), Congressman Jamie Raskin, the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, has demanded the release of the Trump Gala’s attendee list to determine whether the President accepted gifts from foreign governments.
Raskin stated: "Publishing this list will help the American public understand who poured tens of millions of dollars into the President’s pockets," warning that: "Foreign governments could secretly funnel funds to the President via anonymous crypto transactions."
According to Inca Digital data, 220 major TRUMP coin holders attended the gala, collectively spending approximately $148 million to participate. However, most attendees remained anonymous, with only a few publicly identified, including Tron founder Justin Sun and influencer Nicholas Pinto.
On the day of the event, large groups of protesters gathered outside Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C., expressing their discontent. Several lawmakers voiced frustration, including Congresswoman Maxine Waters, who accused the President of: "Shamelessly exploiting White House power to promote and profit from crypto projects linked to himself and his family."
