Google sparks AI enthusiasm with Gemini 3 tease

Google has sparked anticipation among tech enthusiasts with the rollout of Gemini 3. The tech company will launch the AI model before the year ends. The company has doubled down on AI advancements amid concerns about the sector’s “overvaluation” on Wall Street.

Global tech giant Google is reportedly planning to unveil its next major AI model, Gemini 3. The launch has sparked discussions online as anticipation builds among AI enthusiasts.

Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, announced at the end of October that the company will release the AI model later this year. Although he did not give a specific date for the release, rumors circulating online predict that the tech company will unveil Gemini 3 next week.

Data from Polymarket, a decentralized prediction market platform, shows that a poll estimating the rollout will take place on November 22 has garnered support from 69% of the total bets.

Gemini 3 could be out for testing before the official release

Some individuals are convinced the large language model is already “out in the wild” due to Google’s history of allegedly testing its models semi-secretly.

An AI enthusiast reported on November 13 that Gemini was attempting to “escape through the Canvas mode on Gemini mobile apps,” citing reports from community members. The user reported observing a difference in output between SVG images generated on the web and in applications.

Another user pointed out that there is a noticeable difference in quality between the Web (PC) and mobile versions.

The anticipation surrounding the release primarily centers on the possibility of a significant upgrade to Gemini 3 compared to its preceding large language models. Many believe Gemini 3 will code better and generate multimedia at a more improved standard. Anticipations suggest that Google’s viral image tool, Nano Banana, will also be rolled out as part of the new AI model.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT launched in 2022, bringing the AI race to life. The technology caught Google unprepared and pushed the tech company to the edge by threatening its advertising business. The company allocated significant resources and teams to advance AI and integrate it into its products.

Google has been on the sidelines as AI companies compete for the top spot, fueling concerns over a bubble burst on Wall Street. Cryptopolitan reported that U.S. equity funds experienced declining demand in the week through November 12 due to the growing uncertainty and “overvaluation” concerns in the AI sector.

Tech stocks also declined, with the Nasdaq recording a 4.8% hit after soaring to an all-time high in October. AI stocks on Wall Street, such as Palantir and Oracle, also experienced significant dips despite reporting solid earnings, fueling further concerns about the market’s stability.

OpenAI rolled out the highly anticipated ChatGPT 5 in August, but critics argue the model did not meet users’ expectations. If Gemini 3 lands with a bang, the rollout would position Google among the top contenders in AI development.

Google doubles down on AI data centers despite AI overvaluation concerns

Google’s advancement in AI has grown beyond software development. The multinational tech conglomerate announced strategic investments in AI data centers. Cryptopolitan recently reported that the company announced plans to invest $40 billion in the development of new data centers in Texas.

The company also pledged $6.6 billion to an investment plan that will facilitate the development and improvement of data centers in Europe. The investment package will involve building a new data center in Dietzenbach and upgrading the one in the Hanau campus.

Google also recently signed a 15-year Power Purchasing Agreement with energy supplier TotalEnergies. The deal is set to initiate the supply of renewable energy from TotalEnergies’ Montpelier solar farm in Ohio to Google’s data centers in the region.
